THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ECONOMY AND BUSINESS CLASS

Emirates Airlines has three classes of travel, First, Business, and Economy. A first class ticket from America to Zambia is roughly $20,000 or more. If you are interested in first class please let us know. A business Class ticket can range anywhere from $5,000 to $12,000 depending on how far in advance you book the ticket and time of year. Economy class tickets range from $1,800 to $3,500.

Take a look below to see the difference between economy class and business:

Business Class also offers the following upgrades during your trip:

  1. Free black car chauffeur service to and home from the airport if you live within 70 miles

  2. Access to Business and First class lounges in all airports. (free food and drinks and nice lounges)

  3. Priority check in and boarding

  4. Upgraded Hotel in Dubai (although we cannot tell you for sure which hotel you will be at, in most cases our business class travelers stay at the Le Meridian Hotel). This hotel is much nicer than the economy class hotel. There are many restaurants at the hotel to choose from with your free meal vouchers as well. (DO NOT miss the Yalumba breakfast buffet!)

  5. Black Car service from Dubai airport to hotel and back to airport for next departure flight

  6. Much nicer and spacious lay down seats on flights.

  7. Better food on flight.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Are there any other options if I don’t want to pay for business? Based on availability, we can book extended legroom seats in economy which are in the exit rows. You have to be 18 or older to sit in an exit row. It costs you roughly $500 extra to do this option. If you are interested please let us know when putting down your deposit and when you email us your passport.

If I upgrade to business is my trip still fully tax deductible? Yes.

If I am flying business class and I am traveling with others in economy can we all stay at the same hotel in Dubai for free? No. Unfortunately Emirates airlines does not allow us to know what hotels you will be staying at until you check in for your flight at the airport. For the most part we can guess which hotel you will stay at depending on your class of travel. Most economy class travelers stay at the Copothorne Hotel while business class is at Le Meridian Hotel. At your own risk and cost, you can book extra hotel rooms at either hotel. However we cannot 100% guarantee that is where Emirates will put you up.
