Elijah Mukanwa

Elijah is 7 years old and was born on March 10, 2018. He has a younger brother and a younger sister and they all live together with their parents. Elijah’s sister, Favour, is also in our Arise Africa sponsorship program! Elijah’s father works as a gardener and his mother takes care of the children and their home.

Elijah is in first grade at Taonga School and his favorite subject is Phonics. Being in school, he is most excited to learn how to read and write. Elijah’s hobbies are playing soccer, making toy cars out of wires and clay soil. He enjoys creating crafts with his friends in his neighborhood. He also loves playing with car tires while racing with his friends.

Elijah is a bright child who is friendly and calm. He attends church every Sunday and his favorite Bible story is the story of how God created the world.
