Martha Daka

Martha is 5 years old and in Kindergarten at our Arise Christian School. When she completes her studies she wants to become a medical doctor so that she can help the sick. Martha is the youngest of six siblings and lives with her Mother who sells chicken to help support the family.

Martha is a determined, open-minded young girl who always believes in her abilities and is very energetic and focused girl. She has great potential to enhance her abilities because of her passion for learning new things every day. Her favorite activity is playing with toys and classmates and her favorite subject is English because it helps her learn how to express herself. In her free time Martha likes to draw and write and enjoys playing netball with her friends. Her favorite meal is rice with potatoes.

Martha’s family attends the Roman Catholic Church. Martha always participates in church activities and has contributed to the group through her singing, dancing, and poetry. Her favorite bible story is the story of Joseph and his brothers and her favorite bible verse is John 1:1 “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.’’ Martha’s favorite characteristic of God is that He is the Healer!
