Godfrey is the 3rd born in a family of 4 kids. He was born within Lusaka at Ng’ombe clinic. He lives in Ng’ombe Township not too far from ACS with both parents and his siblings. Godfrey’s mum works as a house helper in Kalundu (a residential area within Lusaka). His dad works as a groundskeeper in Kabulonga (another residential area within Lusaka). Despite both parents being employed, their income is not able to sustain the family needs, which has led to some of Godfrey’s siblings not being in school. Out of the 4 children, Godfrey and John will be receiving education. John is the last-born. This will be Godfrey’s first time to be in school. This is of great joy for his parents knowing that one of their kids will be receiving an excellent education. Godfrey is able to count from 1 to 10 and can identify colors. He can’t speak fluent English right now but he understands the language. He loves to play soccer, which happens to be his favorite sport. He plays the sport with his friends Kennedy, Chris, and Suwilanji. His favorite meal is nshima with sausage or fish served with rape for vegetables. His favorite color is blue and apple for fruit. Godfrey’s mum just started going to New Apostolic Church and she plans to start taking Godfrey along. His dad is not yet a believer. We surely hope Bible club offered at ACS will be a great life-changing experience for Godfrey. When he grows up, Godfrey wants to be a soldier in order to help bring order around the world.
