Joseph Banda

Joseph was born on March 30th 2016 in Ngombe community. Joseph is being raised by his single mother after his dad abandoned him when he was 3 years old. He is the last born in a family of 2 with his older sister, Natasha. His mother works as a pieceworker, and she has no formal education. Joseph lives in a community full of crime, poverty, and unsafe living conditions. Joseph is an intelligent boy and has a well-rounded character. He loves reading, and English is his favorite subject.

Joseph enjoys participating in various sports activities. He enjoys extracurricular activities such as soccer and athletic-related games. Joseph has a bright future, and his determination and commitment to school are impressive.  With the support of a sponsor, we believe that Joseph has the opportunity to rise above poverty and pursue a bright future. When Joseph grows up, he dreams of becoming a doctor.
