Raymond Sikaneta Phiri

Raymond is 11 years old and is in 3rd grade at MacDonald Brown School. His favorite subject is English and his favorite lesson is learning about verbs. Raymond lives with his mother, stepfather, two half siblings, and one biological sibling. His biological father left when he was a baby. Raymond has a strong relationship with his stepfather and appreciates the role he plays in his life. Raymond’s stepfather works as a tile worker at a manufacturing company, and his mother does odd jobs to help make a living.

Raymond is very active and friendly. His hobbies include playing soccer, reading books, and telling stories. While playing soccer, his favorite position to play is defense. Raymond’s favorite color is black, his favorite fruit is an apple, and his favorite meal is rice served with chicken. Every Sunday, his family attends church together and Raymond loves reading different stories in the Bible.
