Peter Phiri

Peter is 11 years old and is in 2nd grade at MacDonald Brown School. He has one older sister and they live with their mother in Mtendere East. His father passed away when he was younger and his mother provides for the family by working odd jobs in their neighborhood. Peter’s favorite color is green, his favorite food is sausage, and his favorite fruit is an apple. His favorite book to read is Moana and his favorite Bible story to learn about at church is the story of Samson and Delilah.

Peter is cheerful, kind and respectful. He is helpful at home and gets along well with his sister and his friends. At school, he is hardworking and focused. His favorite subjects are reading and writing. When Peter is with friends, he enjoys playing outside and exploring new things. When Peter finishes his education, he dreams of becoming someone who is strong and courageous. He admires Samson in the Bible and wants to be like him when he is older.
