Victoria Mbewe

Victoria is 10 years old and in 6th grade at MacDonald Brown School. Victoria and her twin sister, Vanessa, live with their older sister, Anna, and their mother in the Mtendere East neighborhood. Victoria’s father left them shortly after they were born. Her mother works hard to make ends meet for their family. Victoria and her family attend weekly church services where she most enjoys singing worship songs. Her favorite Bible story is the story of Jesus raising Lazarus.

Victoria’s favorite color is blue and her favorite fruit is an apple. When she is at home, her favorite game to play with her friends is Netball. In school, she loves learning all subjects and is mostly fascinated when learning about geography and the world around her. When Victoria graduates, she hopes to become a pilot so she can travel the world.
