Hope in 2011.

Hope in 2011.

Hope was our very first child to take into custody.  We first met Hope through Clayton and Ellen Kershaw who immediately fell in love with her and wanted to help provide a constant home for her. This is when we partnered with them to build the Arise Homes.

Hope had lived with various relatives and now has a permanent home at Arise Africa.

Hope has overcome many difficult obstacles before coming into our care. She is strong and a fighter.   She has a very sweet side and although was behind in school when she came to us, has worked incredibly hard to skip grades and study to catch up.  Hope is very tender hearted and as one of the oldest girls in the home, is very caring and helpful with the little ones.  She is always willing to do anything that is asked and has grown up to be a loving, thoughtful, and serving woman.
