Belaam Juwao

Belaam is 14 years old and is in 8th grade at MacDonald Brown School. He lives with his father, three brothers, and sister in Lusaka. His father works as a security guard for his school and is able to provide for his family by doing so. Every Sunday, Belaam and his family attend St. Theresa Catholic Church where he enjoys singing songs and learning about God.

Some of Belaam’s favorites include playing soccer, the color white, nshima with sausage, eating red apples because they are sweet, and playing with his friends. In school, Belaam is committed to further developing his fluency skills while reading and his ability to write.

When he grows up, he wants to be a doctor! He has a big heart and has always taken a keen interest in helping people. Belaam is easy to get along with and is always making new friends, especially while playing soccer!
