Blessing B Tembo

Blessing is in 9th grade at Arise Christian School and is 15 years old. She is the youngest of 7 children and has two older sisters and four older brothers. Blessing lives with her mother, one of her older brothers and his wife and child. Her brother is the sole provider for their family and he works as a taxi driver. Her mother is unemployed and her father passed away in an accident in 2024.

Blessing is a thoughtful, gentle young woman with a deep passion for hair braiding and cosmetology. While naturally introverted, she has a loyal and warm presence who values meaningful connections and expresses herself more once she feels comfortable in her environment. Her favorite home activity is spending time with her mother. Together, they like making doormats from worn-out blankets and clothes. Blessings has come a long way in her academic journey and is seeking sponsorship to complete her secondary education so that she can later pursue a career as a flight attendant.
