Arise Africa Mission Trips
Our mission trips are equal parts physical labor and personal ministry. Teams work to build playgrounds, maintain our facilities, and conduct Vacation Bible Schools. Regardless of the mission you choose, we can’t wait to work together with you in Zambia and introduce you to our amazing staff and children.
Current Opportunities
Week 1 | Arise Christian School VBS
TRIP STATUS: OPEN | 30 SPOTS AVAILABLE
Dates: Thursday, July 2 – Sunday, July 12
Cost: $4,600* including airfare
This week’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) is for our students at Arise Christian School (ACS). Participants on the trip will primarily participate in small groups and activities with our students during VBS. You will also be given the opportunity to interact in the communities they live in and visit Arise Africa’s other projects and partners. ACS has students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Week 2 | Taonga/MacDonald Brown School VBS
TRIP STATUS: OPEN | 30 SPOTS AVAILABLE
Dates: Thursday, July 9 – Sunday, July 19
Cost: $4,600* including airfare
This week’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) is for our students at Taonga/ MacDonald Brown School (Taonga/ MacB). Participants on the trip will primarily participate in small groups and activities with our students during VBS. You will also be given the opportunity to interact in the communities they live in and visit Arise Africa’s other projects and partners. Taonga/MacB has students ranging from kindergarten through 10th grade.
Weeks 1 & 2 | VBS with Everyone!

Dates: Thursday, July 2 – Sunday, July 19
Cost: $5,200* including airfare
Many of our mission trippers aren’t ready to leave after just one week! Stay for two weeks for VBS at both locations and double your fun and impact! Participants on the trip will primarily participate in small groups and activities with our students during VBS. You will also be given the opportunity to interact in the communities they live in and visit Arise Africa’s other projects and partners. Our schools have students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Summer 2026 Internship – Zambia
TRIP STATUS: OPEN
Dates: Leave the US Thursday, June 25th and arrive back in the US Sunday, July 26th.
Cost: $5,500.
This includes airfare, housing, transportation, weekly grocery fund, and a few intern outings. Airline tickets are a significant amount of the cost. Shopping, going out to eat, and add on trips are not included in the cost.
Trip Description: This Internship is designed to show you the life-changing impact that education and compassion have for our students in Zambia! Throughout your time in-country, you will have the opportunity to engage with kids as they’re doing normal school activities, help children with schoolwork, attend and help with school activities, help the Arise Africa staff with various activities, and take part in our VBS program! You will also help “host” American mission trippers at our complex and get to shadow some of our staff. This internship gives you the opportunity to learn more about your passions and gifts — whether that is business, music, counseling, or any other gift God has given you, the Arise Internship will develop you so you can use your strengths to grow the Kingdom!

Excursion Trips
Many individuals and families make the most of their mission trip by adding excursion trips to their mission trip. If you’re going to pay to travel to Africa, you may as well maximize the trip!
We offer several options from going on a safari to seeing Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. (“Vic Falls” is only an hour plane ride away from where we serve in Lusaka!) Arise Africa works with highly accredited travel agents to provide trip options and plan everything for you. Once you sign up for a mission trip, we can let you know more details!
*Please note that the pricing for excursion trips assumes a double occupancy room. Single rooms can be booked at an additional cost.
