Elizabeth Phiri

Elizabeth is an 8 year old girl in Kindergarten at Taonga School. She is quiet, kind, and friendly to everyone around her. She and her younger brother live with their grandparents where her grandfather works as a gardener and her grandmother takes care of the home. Elizabeth’s mother lives close by and they see her often. Elizabeth’s father has never been a part of her life.

Every Sunday, Elizabeth attends services at a Catholic church with her family and enjoys singing various worship songs. She also participates in Sunday School, where she learns and recites Bible verses. Her favorite color is white because she finds it simple and plain. Her favorite meal is rice served with sausage, and her favorite fruit is a banana. She loves to play house, as well as write, sing, and dance.

Elizabeth aspires to become a doctor when she grows up. She admires how doctors take care of people she looks forward to helping others in the same way.
