Mirriam Mulenga

Mirriam is 15 years old and is in 5th grade at MacDonald Brown School. She lives with her mother and her siblings in Mtendere East. She has a twin sister and three older sisters. Her mother is currently unemployed because of medical reasons. Mirriam and her family go to the Reformed Church Of Zambia every Sunday. Participating in the chorus is her favorite activity during the church service because she loves to sing and dance.

At school, her favorite subject is mathematics. She usually practices math with her twin sister. She also enjoys learning Social Studies and is going to challenge herself to memorize the capital cities of all the African countries. When she grows up, she hopes to be a doctor so she can help those who are sick.
