Nelson Banda

Nelson is in 11th grade at Arise Christian School and is excited to be turning 18 in December this year. He is the fifth born in a family of six children and has two brothers and three sisters. Nelson’s family has experienced many hardships including the divorce of his parents, the passing of one of his sisters, and the abandonment of his father. Despite these unfortunate circumstances, Nelson has always been committed to his faith and his education. His role model is his mother, who is the sole provider for him and his siblings. Nelson is grateful for his mother’s strong and resilient heart.

Nelson is a friendly, self-motivated, and well-behaved student who dreams of becoming a Software Engineer one day because he is passionate about Technology. At school, Nelson is part of the Under-19 soccer team, and he loves playing sports. He is one of the top students in his class and his favorite subjects are Biology and Chemistry. He loves Science because it is so practical and easily relatable. Nelson is grateful for the opportunity to be at Arise Christian School and he can’t wait to complete his secondary education.
