Praise Kazembe

Praise is 10 years old and is in 6th grade at MacDonald Brown School. She lives with her parents and her four sisters. Her father runs a small-scale business and her mother is a security guard. She goes to church with her family at the Victory Of The World Ministries. She mostly enjoys the singing and dancing that is done through the service because she loves to sing and dance. While at home, she likes to spend time playing with her sisters and her friends.

Pink and yellow are Praise’s favorite colors because she likes bright colors and she likes how they look on her. Praise’s favorite meal is nshima with beans and cabbage. Nshima is a traditional Zambian meal that is made from water and cornmeal and it tastes like grits. Her favorite fruit is pineapple. She likes it because of its sweet and sour taste, she describes it as a unique fruit. Her favorite subject at school is English. She challenges herself and always strives to be a better English speaker.
