Ruvarashe Banda

Ruvarashe is 12 years old and is the oldest of her siblings. In 2021, her parents got divorced and she moved with her mother and siblings from Zimbabwe to Zambia. Ruvarashe’s mother provides for the family by gardening and washing clothes for neighbors.

Despite some family difficulties, Ruvarashe is determined to excel in her academics. She dedicates her free time to academic studying and practicing her reading and writing skills. Her goal is to become a journalist after completing her education.

Ruvarashe attends the Christian Assembly Church of God every Sunday morning. She finds joy in the preachings and learning about God’s unfailing love. Ruvarashe also enjoys the choir’s music and looks forward to joining the choir soon.
