Ryan Mayamiko Lungu

Ryan was born on September 28, 2019 and is the oldest of two children in his family. Ryan and his younger sister, Samantha, live with their mother and stepfather. Ryan’s father left when he was two years old and hasn’t been in his life since. Ryan’s mother works odd jobs and does laundry for others in their neighborhood. His stepfather is not formally employed and depends on piecework to make money. Ryan does not have a stable relationship with his stepfather, but is very close with his mother.

Ryan is quiet and says his best friend is his younger sister. At home, Ryan helps his mother with chores around the house and plays with his sister. He enjoys playing outside and building things. At school, Ryan loves math and creative and technology studies. On Sundays, he sings in the children’s choir at church and loves learning about Jesus.
