Sheila Njobvu

Sheila is 8 years old and is the youngest of five siblings. She has three brothers and one sister, and they all live together with their parents. Sheila’s mother works as a food vendor, and her father works as a construction worker on a part time basis. Each week, the family attends church together and Sheila enjoys learning and singing the songs.

Sheila is very excited to join Arise Christian School in the first grade. She loves to learn math and counting is her favorite thing to do. She also enjoys reading books. Her older sister has been teaching her how to read so she is ready for her year in first grade. Sheila has a great support system at home and is very blessed to have such a loving family. When she completes school, she wants to become a teacher.
